Part of our series of Ash Walks
Come along and join in a family walk up onto the Kent Downs to discover the rapidly declining ash trees. As we walk we will discover the special features of the ash trees, from the colour of their bark, to the light through their leaves to the many creatures that use the tree for habitat. We will collect things as we go, leaves, bark rubbings and stories and make our very own books celebrating these wonderful trees.
The walk is led by the wonderful story teller and nature fabulist Paul Holt from the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership for The Ash Project. The walk is not difficult and is suitable for all ages.
